Beginning in 1989, Wesfam Restaurants established a scholarship in the memory of George H. Wessel, MD (1928-1988) one of the co-founders of the company.  In 1995, we added an additional scholarship to honor Fred Wessel (1932-1995) another co-founder of the company.

In 2008, Wesfam Restaurants, Inc. will award two (2) scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each to assist with tuition, dormitory fees or book expenses that are a part of attending an accredited post educational institution.  One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to an eligible Wesfam team member and one $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to an eligible child of a Wesfam employee.

All applications must be submitted no later than Monday, March 31, 2008.
